Of Mice and Men Part 4

I have a lot of similarities but not that many differences. Some similarities are all characters that were in the book were in the movie. The way the book portrayed the characters is exactly on point with the movie. The storyline from both of them were almost exactly the same. There is one more thing that I can think of and that is the way they said things. It sounded like they took the book and used it as a script for the movie.
I didn't find a lot of differences. One of the differences I saw was they didn't show the part where George tells Lennie to hide in the brush after he gets in trouble. I feel like that was a very important part in the movie/book because that was one thing Lennie kept on repeating throughout the movie. This was one of the things George thought was important for Lennie to remember. Another thing was in the book when George killed Lennie he made it more dramatic in the book when in the movie George made it fast.

Dear George,

Dear George,
I am sorry to hear about Lennie. It really is a tragic thing that happened but I know in my mind you made the right choice. I heard from Carlson that Curley "I'm gonna get him. i'm going for my shotgun. i'll kill the big son-of-a-bitch myself. I'll shoot 'im in the guts. Come on, you guys." If you didn't put that big fellow down without pain, Curley would've killed him slowly by shooting out his guts. I also heard from Carlson you got his luger back for him and ended Lennie's life for a good reason. I know for a fact Lennie would never do something ferocious like that. Lennie doesn't deserve anything CLOSE to this bad. He is just a big guy not knowing what wrong and whats right.
I also think it was a great idea to lead him into instead of just saying " I need to kill you." I like how you made him past away peacefully. To have his head and his hopes high before Lennie had to go.
"Look acrost the river, Lennie, an' I'll tell you so you can almost see it. " Lennie turned his head and looked off across the pool and up the darkening slopes of Gabilans. "We gonna get a little place," He reached in his side pocket and brought out Carlson's Luger.
He made it seem like everything was going to be okay and to keep Lennie happy and satisfied.

Of Mice and Men Part 2

"He don't have to take after Lennie. Lennie didn't do nothing to him. What's he got against Lennie?"
This quote explains why he's scared of staying. He is scared because he knows he didn't do anything and Curley will beat him up. I think he is imagining what could happen in the future if he did something that Curley didn't like. He knows that Curley will do something about it.

"Lennie's eyes were frightened. " I don't want no trouble" he said plaintively. "Don't let him sock me, George."
So this quote shows you how scared Lennie is of Curley. It shows how much he doesn't want any trouble and how he doesn't want anything to do with Curley. It also shows how much he doesn't want to fight.

"Ya know, Lennie, I'm scared I'm gonna tangle with the bastard myself. I hate his Guts. Jesus Christ!"
This quote shows how much George doesn't like him either. Lennie knows George is scared of him too. He doesn't want himself or George to get hurt.
