Islamic music is from the Muslim religion, often played in open areas and/or personal gatherings. Sine the muslim religion has such an eclectic variety of nationalities, their music also very different. There are also songs about nations such as "a hamd" which is a song to pay tribute to Allah, their god in the religion. And "A naat" which is to pay tribute to the prophet muhammad. This group of music is called the qawwali. Some people in this religion believe that singing lyrics are allowable and instruments are prohibited.
